Fear.Win (Fear, DoT, Win.. get it?) is a WoW blog primarily focused on the PVE aspect of Shadow Priests & Warlocks, both of which I raid as.

In-game, I’m primarily a raider but I also love fishing and leveling alts (although I’m a bit burnt out on that at the moment). Fishing is boring to most players but I find it to be relaxing and an excuse to listen to music, drink some beer and just chat with friends in the guild. I’ve gotten Old Crafty but I’m still working on fishing out that turtle mount.. the elusive bastard!

Like just about everyone, I love alts, so sometimes posts can pop up about any class that I’m playing at the moment. For the most part though, they’ll be Shadow Priest or Warlock related.

I’m a late twentysomething married male, born in Baltimore, MD and residing in Indianapolis, IN. I currently work as an office robot during the evening, using my free time to update this blog when we aren’t busy. With that in mind, you won’t be seeing a lot of flashy pictures and WWS feeds since those sites are normally blocked through my job’s firewall.

WoW is my first MMO but I’ve been an avid console gamer for the better part of 20 years. I’m also a huge fan of music, sushi and horror films as well as hockey and MMA.

In the MMA world, I was a big PRIDE FC fan before they closed down but I currently follow UFC as an avid watcher of The Ultimate Fighter series. My current favorite fighters are Forrest Griffin, Wanderlei Silva, Takanori Gomi, Rampage Jackson, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua & Kazushi Sakuraba. I grew up watching the Baltimore Orioles and still consider myself a fan even though I haven’t followed them for years. The only sport (outside of MMA) that I follow is the NHL - I’m a huge Anaheim Ducks fan.

I’m pretty musically diverse, but my favorite bands/artists are:

Favorite beer is New Castle Brown Ale but I won’t turn down a Guinness or a Miller High Life. I’m more a social drinker at home or hanging out with my friends rather than a bar-crawler. My bar days are over lol.

Favorite 40 (yes, I’m ghetto like that) is OE (Olde English for you not-so-ghetto-folk). Brown bag it, plz & ty.

Favorite soda is RC Cola and Diet Pepsi.

Favorite rapper is MC Chris with MC Frontalot in a close second.

My in-game friends know me as Abi, short for Abigore.

I have two mains in WoW - An 80 male Undead Shadow Priest named Abigore and an 80 female Undead Demonology Warlock named Nevariah.

In the past, I’ve raided as every caster in the game and had a short stint healing as a Resto Shaman. I mainly play casters but I would eventually like to have a tank and healing alt.

I’m a raider at heart but I DO play on an RP server so I RP every so often but nothing too serious. Running a guild and leading raids doesn’t give me a lot of room to RP at the moment. To be honest, its the least of my worries.
