It looks like Demonology and hybrid specs are taking a little hit with a change to Decimation but Fire & Brimstone looks to be a lot more appealing. Everything else is the same that I posted yesterday though.
- Decimation – Decimation procs will now occur when the target is at or below 30% (down from 35%).
- Fire and Brimstone – Increases damage done by Incinerate on targets effected by Immolate by 6/12/18/24/30%. Also increases the critical strike chance of Conflagrate by 5/10/15/20/25% if Immolate has 5 seconds or less remaining (this is the new part).
- Death Coil – Will now heal the Warlock for 300% of the damage done.
Not a lengthy update but I wanted to keep everyone informed on the PTR changes. My assumption is that Blizzard wants Warlocks to steer away from just blowing Conflagrate every cooldown after the change coming to Glyph of Conflagrate and the increased crit chance from Fire and Brimstone.

I enjoyed fiddling with conflag to hit in my rot just as the CD was up. and whats with the 5% down on decimation…. whats the deal? 5%…… did someone get upset when they got soulfired to death after getting hit by an incen at 34%?…. anyway, destro got somewhat nerfed for pvp, not a big deal for me, as im heavy demo for pvp anyway. Although it seems im either going to have to deal with resetting immolate (very anoyying option) as 30/41 after every conflag for the extra 10% dmg, but im guessing its not even worth the time it takes to reset it, (dps loss) so probly 31/40 is going to be better. I personally would go for more demonic tactics rather then felguard.
in all i think that the major dmg buff to incen is going to make destro top dps spec again… and i just dont like the idea of resetting immolate every time i use conflag…
blizz needs to rethink the whole immolate conflag deal, its going to really mess locks spike dmg up in pvp if it keeps getting dispelled and they have to use conflag at 5 secs or less… all locks are gonna be heavy destro now… afflic got owned pretty bad… demo will never be the top dps spec no matter what happens, and hybrid demo/destro is now less viable, and even MORE simplistic now that conflag is going to show up less in the rotation. so it really is just incen spam now… and decimation at 5% lower health then normal…. so im expecting hybrid to be less common for pve and heavy destro will thrive after the incen buff… but pvp looks like a pile of shit for most of the specs atm…. destro is losing alot of its burst with conflag and immolate and afflic is not a very powerul spec in 2v2 anymore. so all thats left is DEMON FORM spam. Get yourself a rogue cc dps and faceroll on the healer= win….well….most of the time….
