Sideshow and Syrana tagged me in another meme making the rounds. *EDIT* Apparently Fulguralis tagged me as well but due to the most recent “Blogger blocker 2009″ event at my work PC, I didn’t see it. *ARENA PART* So Fulguralis, Sideshow & Syrana.. THIS SONG IS FOR YOU! /air guitar

3.1 Demonology Changes (so far)
Posted in Uncategorized, tagged warlock on February 28, 2009 | 5 Comments »
As I mentioned before in a previous post, I wanted to wait a bit before going over the Demonology Warlock changes in 3.1 because I wanted to focus on the Shadowpriest issues floating around first.
I’m going to try and stay as close to Demonology-only changes as possible but I may cover changes to the top [...]

With all the 3.1 info beating down my wall like the Kool-Aid Man, I haven’t really had a chance to update on my character status or talk about anything else WoW-related. Working on less than an hours sleep and running on what little caffiene is left in my watered down soda, I figured now was [...]
GC Confirming 200% DoT crits?
Posted in Uncategorized, tagged shadow priest on February 27, 2009 | 2 Comments »
Yes, lots of topics ending with “?” now because it’s not 100% or it’s PTR related. Anyway..
Shadowpriest.com has some quotes up from Ghostcrawler today commenting on the DoT crit damage being 200% like everything else.
“GC : You do realize I said earlier in the thread that we would likely have to give the 200% crit [...]

MMO-Champion reported today that some of the glyphs have changed on the PTR. Nothing groundbreaking or even interesting for us Shadowpriests but I suppose it’s my job to post the changes here.
Glyph of Fade – Reduces the cooldown of Fade by 9 seconds, down from 15 seconds.
Glyph of Mass Dispel – Reduces the mana cost [...]
Subtle hints?

Apparently the rest of the world is short on healers and they’re trying to recruit cross-server. Thank you FAILblog.org for making my day.
The Future of Shadowpriest DPS?
Posted in Uncategorized, tagged shadow priest on February 26, 2009 | 5 Comments »
I think I speak for a majority of Shadowpriests when I say that I’m worried about the most recent change to Shadowform but honestly, without seeing how it plays out in-game, I don’t want to jump the gun and assume it’s a nerf.
For those not in the know (and if you’re a Shadowpriest, shame on [...]

Moonfire is awesome =X. /tar fjord turkey, /cast moonfire(rank X).
Utgarde Keep
Had a pretty horrible PuG for this run but I wanted to get the achievement and quests out of the way. There was a poorly geared/gemmed/enchanted 80 Holy Pally healing us through this that was a bit of a douche. He wouldn’t buff [...]
