Now that Mutoh is 60, my goal with him (outside of hitting 80, of course) is to snag the Guardian of Cenarius title from exalted Cenarion Circle & Cenarion Expedition rep. I hit up Silithus last night and did a bunch of quests up to the point where it’s mostly repeatable ones and managed to get close to Honored. A majority of my rep came from farming the Twilight Hammer Cultists for 10 rep each while I tried to get as many Twilight Cultist outfits as possible.
1 outfit = 1 elemental summon from the wind stones which = 500 rep. Makes sense to me!
Last night was our Retro Raid Night and we were scheduled to do AQ20. Since we had enough people on I took my Druid and everyone was nice enough to give me all of the idols, etc. I hit honored inside and we did a full clear in about 20 minutes so it was pretty win/win. Ossiran also dropped an epic tanking cloak which was a huge upgrade since I was a fresh level 60 still sporting some mid-20′s blue cape from SFK I think.
I remember back when we used to actually raid AQ20 and how difficult the old school raids used to be but 8 of us went in, completely ignored the boss mechanics and burned down every boss, including Ossiran, in less than 60 seconds.
After AQ20 was cleared we decided to go to MC. My Druid isn’t attuned and neither is half the guild so I opted to take Nevariah and just summon everyone inside. I got a whisper from some crazy person and his girlfriend who made Death Knights so I shot them guild invites and snagged them up for MC.
Thanks to the last patch, MC no longer requires the water from Hydraxian Waterlords to summon Majordomo and Ragnaros. We had a total of 13 people for MC and I had a lot of fun collecting a few T1 pieces for my Warlock.
MC took a little longer since there is a lot more trash than AQ20 but we finished it in about an hour and headed to Ony to finish up the night. Ony dropped like a rock and I picked up my T2 helm for Nevariah, the Nemesis Skullcap.
Overall I had a lot of fun and I hope everyone else did as well. We’re going to hit up BWL next friday and hopefully I can sneak in another 20 minute AQ run for Mutoh =X.
