Vae Victus, with the help of Monolithic, downed Patchwerk and Noth the Plaguebringer this week in 1 shot. I R EXCITED!
Overall the night went pretty stellar. We gimped our first shot at Anub but got them on our next shot. We one shotted Grand Widow but Maexxna took us 3 attempts. Our 2nd attempt was borked by unlucky (see; gimmicky) cocoons on the MT and the MH. The 3rd time the MT died but our OT picked her up and we dropped her. We one shotted Patchwerk with 2 minutes to go on the enrage timer so if it’s one thing we weren’t lacking tonight it was DPS. I think I pushed about 2950 DPS on Patchwerk and posted #1 on the meters. We had 3 people above 2500. The super sexy dagger dropped but I lost the roll to a guild Mage. At least it went to someone that I know will show up every week!
Lastly we took down Noth in 1 shot. The encounter was fairly easy where you just tank and spank Noth and have an AoE tank just hold the Skeletons until Phase 2 starts. Phase 2 has Noth teleport out of combat and summons more adds while you just AoE them down. Very simple “free loot” encounter.
Tomorrow we head back in to try Hiegen the Unclean and the rest of the Plague Wing and then go back in to the Construct Wing to see the bosses after Patchwerk.
On a good note, I picked up the Robes of Hoarse Breaths only because no one else wanted it.. but later realized it’s the SAME stats as the Robes of Crackling Flame that are sitting in my bank. /bonk.
