On a whim I jumped in to a Heroic Vault of Archavon raid, pushed 2900 DPS and came out with these BAMF’s. I raid in an hour so I didn’t have time to get the better quality purified gem (I dont think the cut is in the game atm anyway) and I could only find the blue quality spellthread. Heroic T7 Legs ftw!

After commenting on The Stoppable Force’s latest post about bad loot mojo, I mentioned that the new year better bring better loot mojo – and it did! Well, for me at least =X. Sorry Stop.
I feel like all I did today was farm mats for craftables and run heroics. Next to the name of the item is the pre-Naxx in-slot ranking from Shadowpriest.com and the instance they dropped from.
Crown of Unbridled Magic – #2 (#1 is the crafted engineering goggles). Heroic Oculus.
Drakewing Raiments – #2. Heroic Oculus.
Slithering Slippers – #4. I already have Cleric’s Linen Shoes which are ranked #2 so these were more of a sidegrade as I don’t see how they consider something with crit worth less than something with haste. Heroic Gundrak. The Cleric’s are from Heroic Nexus.
Wand of the San’layn – #4. Heroic Utgarde Keep.
Ancestral Sinew Wristguards – #3. Revered Wyrmrest Accord.
Titansteel Guardian – #1. Crafted.
Deathchill Cloak – #1. Crafted.
Sundial of the Exiled – #1. Emblems of Heroism.
Plush Sash of Guzbah – #2. #1 if socketed and with a belt bucklet which mine is so #1. Emblems of Heroism.
I couldn’t believe how easy the Deathchill Cloak was to make. The only hard part was the Sirens Tear which I sucked it up and paid 120g for one instead of farming 100 Winterfin Clams.
I’m up to 1845 Spellpower self buffed (Inner Fire) and about 14% crit. I was up to 15.6% but it dropped a little once I swapped some gear around.
I’m not too happy with the proc rate from the sundial. As a Shadowpriest, we use a ton of spells but I’d say it procs maybe 1 in 15-20 casts. The crit bonus is nice but I barely even notice it proccing at all.
I’m still after the epic drops in heroics but I’ll take some ILVL 200 upgrades in the mean time ^_^.
